Objectives

Our Goals

  • Elevate youth perspectives: Provide frontline insight into the challenges and priorities of Chicago’s young people, shaping programs and policies that genuinely meet their needs.

  • Strengthen advocacy: Partner with Soul Survivors to champion equitable access to mental-health resources, trauma-informed care, and suicide-prevention services across the city.

  • Co-create solutions: Collaborate on designing workshops, community events, and peer-support initiatives that foster resilience, reduce stigma, and build supportive networks.

  • Develop leadership skills: Empower members through training, mentorship, and real-world experience so they can become effective spokespeople and changemakers in their own communities.
